” I was born in Sierra Leone, from the Mende tribe. I came
to Australia as a Refugee in 2000 with some of my family members.

It was a blessing that my family was chosen out of the few families to come to a place like Australia and I'm forever grateful to the seating parliament in Australia at the time, for taking that decision, to bring refugee immigrants into the country. Our country was going through a civil war.”
